Concrete Slabs

Solid Foundations for Sheds, RVs, Workshops & More

Not every concrete project is a driveway or patio. Sometimes you need a solid, flat surface for a specific purpose — a pad for your storage shed, a level spot for your RV, a workshop floor that can handle heavy equipment, or a reinforced base for a hot tub or generator. Keep It Wet Concrete pours utility slabs of all sizes throughout the Fort Walton Beach area, engineered for Florida's unique soil and climate conditions.

Shed Pads & Storage Building Foundations

A shed placed directly on the ground will shift, settle, and rot in Florida's moist, sandy soil. A concrete pad provides a level, permanent foundation that keeps your structure stable and your contents dry. We pour shed pads sized to your building's footprint with an additional 2-4 inches of overhang on each side. Anchor bolt placement is coordinated with your shed manufacturer's requirements. For larger storage buildings, we increase the slab thickness and add rebar reinforcement appropriate to the structure's weight and wind load requirements.

RV & Boat Pads

The Emerald Coast is RV and boat country. Whether you need a pad for parking your motorhome, a boat trailer pad next to the garage, or a dedicated space for a travel trailer, we pour slabs designed to handle the concentrated weight and repeated loading of heavy vehicles. RV pads are typically poured at 5-6 inches thick with welded wire mesh or rebar reinforcement. We ensure the surface is level for stabilizer jacks and include proper drainage slope so rainwater doesn't pool around your vehicle. Larger pads can include built-in wheel stops and utility hookup access points.

AC Pads, Hot Tub Pads & Equipment Bases

A proper concrete pad under your air conditioning condenser, generator, or hot tub extends equipment life and simplifies maintenance. We pour equipment pads to the manufacturer's specifications, with proper setback from the building and adequate drainage. Hot tub pads require special attention — a filled hot tub can weigh 4,000-6,000 pounds. We pour these pads at 6 inches thick with reinforcement designed for the specific load, on a compacted base that won't settle under the concentrated weight.

Workshop & Garage Floor Slabs

Whether you're building a new workshop, pouring a floor for a pole barn, or adding a detached garage, the slab is the foundation everything else rests on. We pour workshop floors at 4-6 inches thick depending on the intended use, with reinforcement appropriate for vehicle traffic, heavy equipment, or workshop tools. Finish options include standard broom finish, smooth trowel for easier cleaning, or hardened surfaces for high-traffic commercial use. We can also integrate floor drains, equipment anchor points, and conduit chases into the slab design.
